Kiwanis Community Service Projects

The Crawfordsville Kiwanis Club regularly works with the Montgomery County Youth Service Bureau to help unload their food truck for the Nourish Program. We also pack bags of food for needy children to take home from school for the weekend.

The Crawfordsville Kiwanis Club makes and distributes “Trauma Dolls” to service organizations that may need them for the children that they serve.

The Crawfordsville Kiwanis Club sponsors three Key Clubs at Montgomery County High Schools. These Key clubs help to build service and leadership abilities of the club members.

The Crawfordsville Kiwanis Club works with the annual Halloween on Main Street event to provide candy for the children of the community on Halloween.

The Crawfordsville Kiwanis Club has provided hats and gloves to the elementary schools in the county so children will not be without these items in the cold weather months.

Members of the Crawfordsville Kiwanis Club regularly work with the areas Meals on Wheels program for seniors in our area who have signed up for the program.

Members of the Crawfordsville Kiwanis Club annually support the Summer Lunch Program of the Tri Kappa Sorority.

Through our adaptive equipment project we have provided items such as an IPAD and Communication software to a young man who couldn’t otherwise communicate with his parents or therapists. The Club also has on order an adaptive bicycle for a young man who has spina bifida and can not otherwise enjoy the therapy of riding a bike.
